·         In October 2009, the Campbell County Economic Development Corporation with citizens from the County, City of Gillette, and Town of Wright, embarked on an eight month process to create a five year Economic Development Strategic Plan for Campbell County.

·         The goal was to create realistic and implementable strategies for economic development initiatives to enhance the County's efforts in attraction, retention & expansion, workforce, and community development.
